Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Security Supervisor to join our team at The Ned Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security team, ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Security Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team, ensuring they are equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
  2. Property Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the hotel premises to identify potential security risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  3. Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, and take charge of the situation to ensure a swift and effective resolution.
  4. Security Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring all staff members are aware of and adhere to them.
  5. Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor security staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  6. Collaboration with External Agencies: Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required, to ensure a seamless and effective response to security incidents.
  7. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on security activities and incidents, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement.
  8. Investigations and Compliance: Conduct investigations into security breaches and incidents, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in security management is a plus.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in a security role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  3. Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures, excellent leadership and team management skills, ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively, proficient in using security technology and surveillance systems, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a valid security license and certifications as required by law.
  4. Availability: Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
