We are seeking an experienced Real-Time Optimization professional to join our team at Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME). As a key member of our team, you will provide expert guidance and support to optimize operations using Real-Time Optimization technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Real-Time Optimization strategies to improve refinery operations and reduce costs.
  • Analyze data from various sources to identify improvement opportunities and optimize process variables.
  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, and vendors to develop and implement Real-Time Optimization solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Real-Time Optimization systems to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Real-Time Optimization techniques and technologies to continuously improve refinery operations.
  • Provide technical support and training on Real-Time Optimization systems and processes to engineers, operators, and other personnel.
  • Perform periodic assessments and evaluations to gauge the performance and effectiveness of Real-Time Optimization solutions.
  • Identify and address potential safety, environmental, and reliability risks associated with Real-Time Optimization processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement long-term improvement plans for refinery operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Advanced Process Control or Real-Time Optimization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced process control solutions and refinery economics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of refinery facilities, feedstock/product movements, margins, giveaways, process yields, and mass and energy balances.
  • Familiarity with international standards and specifications for advanced process control and process modeling.
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of advanced process solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage technical discussions and guide technical teams.
