Key Responsibilities

  3. Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure all kitchen activities comply with food safety and sanitation regulations, conducting regular checks to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations.
  4. Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols within the kitchen, ensuring that all kitchen equipment is maintained and used safely, and conducting regular safety drills and training sessions for kitchen staff.
  5. Scheduling and Staff Management: Schedule kitchen staff shifts according to business hours, days, and special occasions, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet business needs, and adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate peak times and events.
  6. Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean and organized, enforcing the restaurant's preventive maintenance measures among staff, and regularly inspecting the kitchen to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  7. Performance Evaluation and Discipline: Monitor and evaluate the performance of kitchen staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance to improve staff performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary, following company policies.
Requirements
  1. At least 3 to 4 years of experience in managing a reputable kitchen or restaurant.
  2. Excellent knowledge of all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) practices.
  3. Strong data acumen for managing inventory and scheduling.
  4. Energetic with a problem-solving mindset.
  5. Valid Health Certificate is mandatory.
  6. Additional Requirements:
  7. Immediate Availability: Candidates must be able to join immediately or within 15 days.
  8. Location: Must be willing and able to work in Qatar.
