We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our Offshore Structure team in Doha, Qatar.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Providing technical and project execution services for offshore structures.
  2. Designing and delivering brownfield and greenfield engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:

The role will involve:

  1. Performing analyses, design, and checking of drawings.
  2. Designing fixed offshore platforms, including jackets, topsides, and decks.
  3. Re-assessing old platforms and performing in-place fatigue analysis.
  4. Designing transportation, lift, and on-bottom stability systems.
  5. Conducting pushover analysis and miscellaneous brownfield design works.
  6. Designing different types of connections, pipe supports, and equipment supports.
  7. Designing and replacing risers, J-tubes, and other offshore infrastructure.
  8. Developing removal, replacement, and installation sequences.
  9. Designing boat landing systems and protector structures.
  10. Conducting site surveys and reporting.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering.
  2. Minimum 12-15 years of experience in offshore structure design.
  3. Hands-on experience with SACS software.
  4. Knowledge of international codes and standards, including API RP 2A and DNV.
  5. Excellent communication and writing skills.

Prior experience with Navis Works, GRLWEAP, STAAD Pro, ANSYS, ABAQUS, MOSES, and USFOS is a plus.

Experience in EPIC projects and FEA package is also desirable.
