Job Summary

Hudson Manpower is seeking a skilled Cladding Operator to join our team in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Fronius FPA 9000 cladding machine with expertise in ETR or CCC.
  • Read and understand drawings and Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) to ensure accurate execution.
  • Maintain tools and equipment used for welding, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform regular maintenance on welding machines and accessories, as well as electrode and baking oven.
  • Adhere to WPS and PQR standards, as well as drawings and instructions from direct supervisor.
  • Monitor and record production log sheets, ensuring accurate tracking.
  • Set and control pre-heat and inter-pass temperatures for optimal results.
  • Configure torch settings based on approved procedures and control cladding parameters.
  • Verify clad thickness for each component, ensuring quality standards.
  • Ensure welder certification is up-to-date and current.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related job and similar position.
  • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience working in Oil & Gas equipment manufacturing, preferably with Wellhead and Xmas Tree components.
  • GTW & TIG welding experience preferred.
  • Programming experience on Fronius Machines preferred.
