Job Purpose:
The Port Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing onshore port operations, ensuring seamless services for users and revenue recovery. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and expertise in maritime logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage onshore port operations to provide efficient services for port users
• Oversee revenue recovery efforts
• Ensure compliance with international regulations and industry standards
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and local communities

Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 15 years of work experience, preferably in middle-management roles within the maritime sector
• Comprehensive knowledge of shipping, contract of affreightment, terminal planning, and port safety regulations
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of IT applications, MS Office, and SAP
• Internationally recognized senior maritime qualification or university degree in a relevant field
