Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Vectrus. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing orders, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods in our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, processing orders, and verifying inventory discrepancies.
  • Process and fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and accurate.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in inventory management software a plus.
Working Environment

This role will be based in a warehouse environment, with occasional exposure to extreme climatic conditions. The successful candidate will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain areas, but not on a daily basis.
