Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement plans that support the project's goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities align with broader business objectives and requirements
  • Review and implement Contractor's purchasing and materials management plans
  • Communicate with the project team on procurement activities, progress, and issues
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage AVL and COMP3 PVL
  • Review and modify Contractor's purchasing and contracting documents as necessary
  • Ensure procurement documents produced by Contractor are of acceptable quality
  • Plan for effective use of Contractor's materials management system
  • Ensure Contractor effectively manages procurement interfaces
  • Appraise Contractor's performance and enhance as appropriate
  • Resolve any materials-related claims
  • Cooperate with IPR and audit teams with respect to procurement
  • Ensure orderly turnover of project (with regards to procurement) to the operating organization
  • Provide Spare Parts (including capital and operational spares) coordination for the project
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • 12 – 15 years' experience in a procurement management environment, within Major Projects preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaboration is key in this role. The candidate must work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and quality control, to ensure procurement activities align with broader business objectives and requirements
  • An in-depth understanding of market trends, pricing dynamics, and emerging procurement technologies is essential for the Procurement Executive role
  • Candidates applying for the Procurement Executive position should demonstrate at least 3 years of hands-on experience in procurement or supply chain management, highlighting their competence in managing procurement processes and supplier engagements
