Job Summary:

Candidzone is seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting material take-offs, performing 2D and 3D CAD design of pipe spools, skids, and fabrication, and generating proposals with material estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct material take-offs and product selection via printed or digital means
  • Perform 2D and 3D CAD design of pipe spools, skids, and fabrication
  • Perform project cost and material estimation and drawings during tender
  • Generate proposals with material estimates
  • Perform design review on drawings from other departments
  • Interpret engineering drawings (P&ID, isometrics)
  • Liaise with other departments, including procurement, warehouse, and sales

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Basic knowledge in CAD design and material estimation
  • Previous experience performing material take-off on piping systems
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and willing to work as part of a team
