  2. Hazard Management and Error Investigations: Utilize the regulatory process for facilitating and coordinating hazard management activities, escalating to relevant stakeholders as necessary.
  3. IT Solutions Administration: Administer all safety information using IT solutions, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
  4. Error Investigation and Reporting: Conduct Maintenance Error Investigations (MEI), coordinate maintenance error investigations, and report findings.
  5. Safety Information Coordination: Coordinate all safety issues within the business area, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
  6. Metric Generation and Analysis: Collect and coordinate relevant data to support the generation and analysis of safety metrics, providing oversight of the safety management system's effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Aircraft Maintenance Experience: Proven experience in aircraft maintenance is essential.
  • Project Management and Error Management: Understanding of project management principles, techniques, and incident investigations, including error management philosophies.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Part 145 and Part M regulations is crucial.
  • Continuous Improvement: Practical experience in continuous improvement is highly desirable.
  • Certifications and Training: Possession of SMS A and B certifications, as well as completion of courses such as MEDA, Human Factors, and ITAR Awareness.
Additional Requirements
  • Statutory Compliance: Demonstrated understanding and application of continuing airworthiness regulatory frameworks, ensuring regulatory-driven changes are implemented.
  • Contractual Requirements: Ensuring compliance with applicable contractual requirements through support to contract reviews and incorporation of required changes into safety processes.
