About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our Group Medical team at Qatar Airways. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy operations, management, and leadership, with a proven track record of success in managing pharmacy operations, staff, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including staff supervision, inventory management, and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy operations, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
- Supervise and manage a team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards related to pharmacy operations, including those related to controlled substances, patient safety, and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports related to pharmacy operations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve revenue, and increase profitability.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure the quality of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including medical operations, procurement, and supply chain teams.
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory agencies, and customers.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a related field.
- Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmacy operations, management, and leadership.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
