Job Title: Medical Records Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Officer to join our team at MSI Digital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Branch Management:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans for the branch, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
    • Lead and direct the branch team, providing guidance and support to achieve set goals.
    • Monitor and review performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote customer service culture among branch staff.
    • Monitor customer complaints and mystery shopping results, recommending measures to improve retention rates.
  • Marketing and Disbursement:
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Mwananchi's products and services.
    • Manage loan disbursements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    • Monitor loan approvals, disbursements, repayments, and portfolio quality, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Risk Management:
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies to maintain portfolio quality and minimize delinquency.
    • Monitor and review credit risk framework, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Initiate repossession actions, working closely with the Head of Debt.
  • Human Capital:
    • Supervise and develop branch staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet their roles and responsibilities.
    • Recruit and select branch staff, working closely with HR.
    • Train and coach staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Legal Issues:
    • Record statements with lawyers for upcoming court cases.
    • Prepare affidavits for court proceedings.
    • Attend court sessions, representing the company as required.
    Requirements:
    • Education: Any Bachelor's Degree.
    • Numerical skills, data analysis, and communication skills.
    • Excellent analytical skills, quantitative and qualitative.
    • Experience in commercial debt recovery environment.
    • Proficiency in IT skills and knowledge.
    • Judgement to balance commercial debt recovery and compliance risks.
    • Maintains highest professional standards.
    • Ability to build supportive relationships with everyone across the organization.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Able to multi-task, manage time effectively, and remain calm under pressure.
