We are seeking a highly skilled Business Insights Manager to join our Cargo Business Optimization Team at lxbfYeaa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the analysis of portfolio-wide commercial strategy and tactics using analytics and providing actionable insights to the Cargo Leadership to maximize revenue and generate profit for the Division.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing in-depth analysis of the competitive landscape for lxbfYeaa positioning, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities.
- Collaborating with Network Planning (NP) and Revenue Management (RM) along with network capacity analysis including expansion for new profitable destinations and increasing frequency on it.
- Representing the Profitability department in commercial meetings, playing a central role between Cargo Profitability and other departments (RM, Regional, NP, Global Sales, etc.) by providing actionable insights to inform network wide strategies aimed at revenue maximization.
- Developing and promoting best practices approaches for research, analytics and KPIs through selection of right methodologies, people and tools alongside definition of effective processes.
- Monitoring and analyzing lxbfYeaa route performance from a P&L perspective and sharing the insights with relevant stakeholders to make informed decisions and provide regular revenue updates to all key stakeholders of the market and business.
- Identifying areas of revenue leakage, developing, implementing solutions to eliminate such leakage and ensuring measurement of performance of all relevant business decisions across commercial function within head office and regions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of job-related experience in managing business insights.
- Strong data analytical skills with the ability to make recommendations and sound decisions.
- Excellent problem solver with advanced knowledge of project management as well as stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of data analytical tools.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills with strong negotiation, persuasion and influencing capabilities.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams at all levels in a fast-paced working environment.
- Experience and ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow with strong mentoring and coaching skills.
