Key Responsibilities
  • Room Preparation and Assignment
    • Obtain and review room assignments and guest preferences to ensure accurate and efficient room preparation.
    • Assign housekeeping staff to rooms based on priority and availability.
  • Quality Control and Inspection
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with company standards.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to cleanliness, maintenance, or guest satisfaction.
  • Staff Management and Training
    • Supervise and train housekeeping staff on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Conduct regular inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels.
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal levels.
  • Guest Services and Communication
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping services.
    • Communicate with guests to resolve issues and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on housekeeping performance, including metrics on cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and staff productivity.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in leading housekeeping teams and improving guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
