At Power International Holding Qatar, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing financial guidance and support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cost reduction programs to improve financial performance.
  • Provide financial guidance to functional counterparts and senior management on matters involving cost determination, inventory valuation, and product pricing.
  • Conduct special studies and analyses to determine work-in-house, subcontract costs, and cost impact of proposed facilities or processes.
  • Identify and investigate issues related to assigned projects, determine scope, and select approach from accepted methodology or recommended alternatives.
  • Define assumptions for the quantification and analysis of investments, acquisitions, or divestitures.
  • Participate in the development of long-range financial forecasts and related budgets, considering alternative scenarios and economic prospects.
  • Review the monthly trial balance in collaboration with the Chief Accountant and ensure accuracy of all monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Follow up with Senior Finance Director to implement the company's budget and compare it with actual expenses.
  • Review all accrued expenses on a monthly basis and ensure proper depreciation process for fixed assets.
  • Manage and provide assistance in managing or maintaining accounts of strategic clients.
  • Monitor all over work related to year-end closing procedures to issue the yearly audited financial statement of the company.
  • Supervise and train less experienced analysts.
