Human Resources Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Officer-HR to join our team at Qatar Airways. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of HR services support to all departments, assisting with day-to-day operations, and acting as a primary contact for line managers and employees across all people matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee files, both manual and electronic.
- Provide HR services support to all departments and assist with day-to-day operations.
- Work closely with employees in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
- Responsible for keeping records for the entire employment cycle, including sourcing, recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, progression, and separation, in compliance with applicable government laws and HR policies.
- Prepare day-to-day memos and letters related to employee matters, such as resignations, terminations, retirements, promotions, and salary increments.
- Arrange joining tickets, repatriation tickets, and cargo during employee separation.
- Update and maintain leave records in the HR system.
- Ensure employee records are up-to-date in the HRMS system and other HR-related support systems.
- Responsible for the administration of employment records and related documents, including terms of employment, contract renewals, probation reports, end of employment letters, termination, and clearance checklists.
- Coordinate with payroll, recruitment, immigration, and other stakeholders.
- Represent HR in investigation meetings and prepare minutes, statements, and reports.
- Act as a first point of contact in HR between employees and management to provide assistance and address employee-related issues.
- Respond to employee queries on HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor employee attendance and related queries.
- Prepare purchase requests for business cards and other general requests.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Associate Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum three (3) years of job-related experience.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High level of sensitivity and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
- Knowledge of Human Resources Law and Qatar Labour Law.
