Job Description: As a Fire & Gas Technician you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Fire and Gas detection and protection systems. Your responsibilities include:

  • System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • System Knowledge:

    • Interpret plant Fire and Gas system layouts cause and effect diagrams and loop sheets.

    • Service smoke detectors manual call points beam detectors HSSD and VESDA systems.

    • Understand tank protection systems and foam protection systems.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of Fire and Gas layouts and maintenance documentation.

    • Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures for oil & gas plant safety.

    • Root cause analysis for system failures and corrective actions.


Requirements

What We re Looking For:

  • Bachelor s Degree Diploma or ITI in Engineering.

  • Minimum experience:

    • 4 years for Engineering graduates.

    • 6 years for Diploma holders.

    • 8 years for ITI holders.

  • Handson expertise in modern Fire and Gas systems in Oil & Gas Refinery or Petrochemical environments.

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

  • Ability to manage site coordination activities and report to the team leader or project engineer.
