You'll Be Responsible For

  • Managing the development and strategic management of digital delivery, encompassing BIM, CAD, GIS, CDE, digital solutions, and data management.
  • Creating and overseeing the organisation's digital roadmap.
  • Being proficient in BIM and digital delivery methodologies.
  • Developing and implementing organization-wide digital guidelines, processes, and standards.
  • Improving automation tools, software, and workflows.
  • Creating discipline-specific BIM models at project initiation.
  • Developing project-specific BIM standards.
  • Setting up and managing drawings production processes.
  • Managing design clash detention processes.
  • Ensuring efficient coordination of BIM models and data.
  • Ensuring design consultant adheres to client's BIM requirements.
  • Supporting client's stakeholder training and understanding of client's BIM information based on operation needs.
  • Leverage the latest construction digital technology to a construction team from all project stakeholders.
  • Chairing BIM meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Managing BIM-related escalation procedure.

  • 1. Strategic Leadership and Vision

  • Digital Transformation Strategy: The Senior Digital Engineering Manager drives the organization's digital transformation efforts, particularly within engineering processes. They develop and execute a strategy for integrating digital technologies, such as AI, IoT, cloud computing, and automation, to improve engineering workflows.
  • Innovation Leadership: They foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to explore new digital tools and methods that can enhance engineering capabilities, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Aligning Digital Solutions with Business Goals: The Senior Digital Engineering Manager ensures that digital engineering initiatives are aligned with the company's long-term goals and business objectives.

  • 2. Digital Engineering Project Oversight

  • Project Management: They lead digital engineering projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. They ensure the projects meet both technical and business requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: They collaborate with other departments such as IT, R&D, operations, and product development to ensure that digital engineering solutions are seamlessly integrated across all parts of the business.
Desired candidate profile

Recognised degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or other directly related Building Construction programs with a Major in BIM Technology/digital design and industry knowledge in multiple project disciplines and coordination processes.
Extensive experience in building projects with at least 5 years of BIM, Graphics, 3D Modelling, GIS, and Asset Inventory experience and shall have relevant proficiency in proposed BIM Authoring and Coordination Software.

Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and inspire innovation and collaboration.
Digital Engineering Expertise: In-depth knowledge of digital engineering tools, platforms, and technologies, such as CAD, PLM, simulation software, IoT, and data analytics.
Project Management: Proficiency in managing large-scale, complex projects with a strong focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to align digital engineering efforts with business objectives and long-term goals.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex engineering challenges and develop effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaboration across departments.
Innovation Mindset: A forward-thinking approach to leveraging new technologies and methodologies to improve engineering practices and processes.
Change Management: Ability to manage organizational change and help teams adapt to new digital tools and workflows.
Business Acumen: Understanding of the financial and strategic impacts of digital engineering investments.
