About You

  • Experienced in supervising childcare services or youth programs with a focus on both safety and enrichment.

  • A skilled leader with strong organizational and crosscultural communication skills.

  • Knowledgeable in child safety protocols and compliance with childcare regulations (or willing to learn).


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of childcare services including scheduling staff management and program delivery.

  • Maintain compliance with health and safety protocols including first aid emergency preparedness and child abuse prevention.

  • Engage with families to ensure the childcare program meets the needs of children from a diverse refugee population.


Key Qualifications


Required:

  • 3 years of experience in childcare supervision early childhood education or youth services.

  • Red Cross Child Care Certificate or equivalent (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

  • Strong English communication skills.


Preferred:

  • Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto.

  • Knowledge of emergency preparedness bloodborne pathogen protocols and child abuse prevention training.

  • Experience in international or humanitarian childcare settings.
