  • Accountable for a variety of complex deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a large scale projects 
  • Manages the resources across a portfolio of projects all within the established budgets
  • Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood
  • Monitors and manages the performance of direct reports
  • Responsible timely cash collection in compliance with contract terms
  • Responsible for ensuring that any additional work/changes in scope are approved by clients
  • Ensures all deliverables comply with the PDS.
  • Reviews and responds to contractors claims in accordance with the provisions of the Conditions of Contract and ensure the Clients interests are protected
  • Provides direct liaison with the Client project team.
  • Reviews the contracts and commercial reports
  • Represents the clients/AECOM in dispute resolutions/arbitration procedures.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for all project packages.

Qualifications :

  • Good working knowledge of FIDIC suite of contracts.
  • Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost value and risk.
  • Excellent numeracy verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working as part of integrated multiorganisation collaborative teams
  • Experience of working within a client organization either directly or through a colocation/secondment arrangement would be of benefit
  • A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
  • Prior linemanagement experience

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Degree Qualified BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
  • Professionally Qualified ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS CIOB or other equivalent institution.
