One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

**Job Description** Health & Safety Supervisor**

Health & Safety Supervisor is responsible to assist the HSE Manager running the day-to-day operation of the Health & Safety department ensuring that safe work practices are implemented / conducted in all areas of the waterpark.
- Assist the HSE Manager with the implementation of health and safety policies, procedures and standards.
- Outlines safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
- Conducts regular site inspections to ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Prepares and maintains inspection records and produces reports that suggest improvements.
- Maintains incident records and produces statistics for management as required.
- Investigates and reports on all personal injury accidents and damage to property occurring in the waterpark and document in an incident report.
- Maintains a working knowledge of Health and Safety best practices and industry policy changes.
- Produces health and safety related reports, newsletters and bulletins.
- Advises on a range of specialist areas including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
- Provides safety orientations and oversee the performance of all employees in order to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Initiates and organizes safety awareness campaigns, including occupational safety workshops and training sessions, in an effort to ensure that students and staff observe established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Carries out regular safety and security inspections of various waterpark facilities, systems and equipment, including first-aid rooms, electrical systems, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to ensure compliance with international standards.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry (5* Hotel or resort).
- High School diploma
- 2 years of H&S experience preferably in waterpark park environment
- Strong computer proficiency of Microsoft office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages such as Arabic will be an advantage
