**Primary purpose of job**
The Network Infrastructure Senior System Engineer is to design, commission and operate state-of-art network

across the corporation. The Senior Systems Engineer logístically and technically coordinates and works with ICT

divisions/units, corporate project managers, and external entities to deliver services, meet projected milestones and meet

expected network service uptime and availability.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Possess one of the following certifications: CCNP, CCIP, or CCDP.
- Higher level certification such as CCIE in Routing/Switching and/or Service Provider is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive combined technical experience in networking and structured cabling systems, related

standards, protocols and at least 7 years professional hands-on experience in design, operation and support of complex

service provider network infrastructure systems preferably related to the Oil and Gas industry and standards.
- Expert level of technical hands-on experience in implementation and operation of systems related to following

technologies: routing, switching, MPLS, WiFi systems.
- Strong verbal and communications skills including excellent knowledge of techniques used to establish and maintain

effective working relationships with staff and third party personnel.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to write technical blueprints, high and low level design documents, standards,

processes, procedures, manuals, feasibility studies, and tendering proposals.
- Strong project management skills including setting up objectives, compiling reports, identifying priorities, selecting right

team members and ability to manage multiple tasks and limited resources.
- Effective problem solver with strong analytical and methodical thought process skills for the goal of analysing complex

technical issues, making sound engineering decisions and executing effective actions.
- Demonstrated ability in carrying out tough negotiations and persuasion skills, for successfully carrying out assignment

related to assigned projects.
- Good experience with compiling annual financial budgets and aligning capital investment with business requirements.
- Good knowledge of Information Technology industry, trends, costs and benefits of different technologies, and the

principles of effective information architecture.
- Demonstrate commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

**Education**
A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics

Engineering, or an equivalent Engineering field.
