2. Conduct needs analysis consultation and survey to facilitate faculty and departments identify goals and desired teaching & learning outcomes.

5. Identify, evaluate, select and implement emerging instructional and academic technology trends for the development and delivery of leading-edge blended teaching & learning offerings.

6. Collaborate with team members to set strategic priorities and determine measurable outcomes for new blended learning projects and improvise existing project offerings.

7. Provide support to business development efforts such as assumption A/B testing, product promotion, and partnership development.

8. Develop a systematic process (workflows, templates, job aids) of translating general principles of learning and instruction into plans for digital instructional materials, experiences (real, virtual & augmented) and measurable learning outcomes.

9. Integrate external tools and content (laboratories, simulations, eBooks, Coursera, HBS, edX, etc.) so that these materials synchronize and interact with the LMS as specified.

10. Establish synergy when working with academic and administrative departments, libraries and technology service providers throughout the university to ensure positive and successful integration of technologies into the QU environment and ensure compliance with international accessibility guidelines.

12. Address copyright concerns and ADA compliance issues.

13. Support in the implementation and updates of DLOE strategic plan.

14. Collects and documents all the necessary data for reporting purposes.

15. Perform other tasks and duties that may be occasionally required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University.

16. Ensure confidentiality of information at all times.

Demonstration of Abilities:
17. Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with staff, organizational members and external bodies, as needed.

18. Demonstrate strong analytical and creative skills, as well as effective interpersonal and communication skills.

19. Manage complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating on multiple projects concurrently.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum:

- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Educational Technology or closely related field.

Preferred:

- PhD in instructional design or closely related field
- Practical knowledge of information architecture, content strategy and UI design is a plus.
