Furniture Shop Salesperson Responsibilities and Job Description
**Responsibilities**:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Actively listen to customer needs and preferences to provide tailored recommendations.
- Answer customer inquiries and address concerns promptly and effectively.
- Provide product demonstrations and explain product features and benefits.
- Assist customers with selecting furniture that meets their style, budget, and functional requirements.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Sales:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Utilize sales techniques and strategies to persuade customers to make purchases.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products or services to increase sales revenue.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the store's product line and pricing.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Store Operations:
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
- Participate in store merchandising activities, such as product displays and window dressing.
- Adhere to store policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
**Job Description**:
- Job Title: Furniture Shop Salesperson
- Reports to: Store Manager
- Location: Doha - Qatar
- Salary: 3000-3500 Qar/ month.
- Benefits: Commision upon reaching sales target.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the furniture industry.
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items.
Additional Skills (preferred):
- Interior design knowledge or experience.
- Bilingualism.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Sales revenue achieved.
- Customer satisfaction ratings.
- Average order value.
- Upselling and cross-selling performance.
- Employee turnover rate.
