**Job Title**: Restaurant Captain Waiter

**Month Salary**: QAR 2,300 plus FREE shared accommodation and transportation.

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Captain Waiter to join our team. As a Restaurant Captain Waitress, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth restaurant operations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding table service, supervise and assist the waitstaff, and ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exemplary table service to guests, taking orders, suggesting menu items, and ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Supervise and train waitstaff, ensuring they follow standard operating procedures, maintain professionalism, and deliver exceptional service.
- Oversee the seating arrangements and manage the flow of guests to ensure efficient table turnover.
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders, maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials, to assist guests with menu selection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring tables are properly set, condiments are stocked, and cleanliness standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and reconcile the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Coordinate with the host/hostess to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements during peak hours.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic dining environment.
- Assist in the training and development of new staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Uphold the restaurant's standards of hospitality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement and maintain service standards, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and a culture of exceptional service.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Restaurant Captain Waitress or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle various customer situations with professionalism and tact.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, menu items, and wine pairing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order-taking, cash handling, and overall service delivery.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the restaurant industry.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in hospitality or related field is a plus.
