**DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT**is looking for **Equipment Inspector
- Mechanical**in **Doha-Qatar**

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Certified Mechanical Inspector (e.g., API 510, API 570, ASME, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a mechanical inspection role within a plant or industrial setting (e.g., power plant, chemical plant, oil & gas, manufacturing).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance procedures, and industrial safety regulations.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred.
- Familiarity with NDT techniques and inspection tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed inspections of mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, turbines, heat exchangers, piping systems, and rotating machinery.
- Evaluate equipment conditions using visual inspection, vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing, and other NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) techniques.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety standards, industry codes (e.g., ASME, API), and regulatory requirements.
- Document inspection findings, create reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support maintenance and engineering teams in root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations.
- Monitor equipment performance and reliability trends to support asset integrity programs.
- Assist in planning and executing equipment shutdowns and turnarounds.
- Maintain inspection records and ensure timely scheduling of inspections per company policies and statutory requirements.
- Verify proper installation and alignment of newly installed mechanical equipment.
- Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to ensure plant availability and performance.
