About the role
Implementation engineers are responsible for implementing new technologies and systems. They work with a variety of clients, from small businesses to large corporations, to help them integrate new software or hardware into their existing infrastructure.
Implementation engineers may also be tasked with training users on how to use the new technology they’ve implemented. This can include anything from simple tutorials on how to log in to more complex training sessions on how to use specific features of the software or hardware being introduced.
**Implementation Engineer Responsibilities**
- Developing and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency or quality of operations
- Analyzing customer needs to determine how new technologies can solve problems or increase efficiencies
- Providing training to other employees on how to use new technologies they have implemented
- Conducting evaluations of existing technology to determine if it can be improved
- Designing information systems architecture and infrastructure to support organizational goals
- Assessing risks and recommending solutions to security breaches or vulnerabilities in existing systems
- Designing, installing, and maintaining computer networks, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and security systems
- Recommending new technologies or upgrades to existing systems to meet business needs
- Managing external vendors and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
**Implementation Engineer Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar preferred.
- Proven experience working as an Implementation Specialist.
- Zoho CRM Plus, Zoho One.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills using industry-accepted best-practices and tools
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to earn the confidence and trust of clients and peers in other departments.
