Internal Auditor

**JOB TITLE**: Internal Auditor

**LOCATION**: Doha, Qatar

We are currently looking for a Internal Auditor based in our Doha office to join our Internal Audit (IA) team for consulting practice. The duties and responsibilities are listed below:
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Execute engagement planning activities for a full range of internal audits and participate in ad-hoc projects and ongoing department-wide initiatives
- Perform a full range of testing activities in support of internal audits; document test procedures and results in alignment with defined standards and methodologies, identify missing, inadequately designed and ineffective controls
3. Identify and evaluate clients risk areas covering all significant processes and provide comprehensive input for risk-based internal audit plan development.

4. Independently manage different client engagements. Plan, organize, direct and execute internal audit operations, including overall quality of deliverables, processes and completion of projects within budgeted man-days.

5. Manage assignments for effectively carrying out internal audit and risk management of the various units and subsidiaries of the company to identify weaknesses and recommend improvement to processes, control systems, procedures etc. and highlighting non-compliance to various statutory and legal requirements.

6. Conduct follow up audit for implementation of recommendations for improvement within a mutually agreed timeframe with the business/functional heads.

7. Design/develop risk management framework for the entity, including the standards and recommend executive actions.

8. Develop relevant audit programs & procedures including Risk & Control Matrix (RCM).

9. Manage performance of audit procedures. This includes identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures. Demonstrate technical competence in the related domain.

10. Communicate the results of assignments through written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to client management, including presentations to the Audit committees and at Board meetings.

11. Assist engagement director with identification for any new firm services at existing or new clients. Prepare and track proposals and conduct proposal meetings with clients.
- Supervise, coach and assist more junior team members, provide feedback on performance to associates; seek and provide upward feedback
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:
1. Educational Requirements: A recognized degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business or related disciplines

2. Professional Certifications: ICAEW, ACCA, CPA and/or Masters is a must. CIA and/or CISA qualifications is an advantage.

3. Work Experience: 2-3 years of work experience gained in a large audit and/ or consulting firm of which a majority should be in internal audit (GCC experience is an advantage), experience in oil and gas/ Petro-chemical/ industrial manufacturing sector is desirable.
- Software skills: Microsoft Office 365 tools
- Word, Excel, Powerpoint (Proficient)
- Competencies Required:
A. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical ability and presentation skills.

B. Ability to deal with people at different levels including senior management / CXO level.

C. Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks with management level accountability.

D. Ability to travel based on client and business needs.

**Salary**: QAR5,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
