a) **Lifeguard Requirements**
- Age: 27 years or above.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Appearance: Smart appearance and physical fitness.
- Certification: Certified as a lifeguard from Qatar Swimming Association (QSA) with valid documentation, including First Aid, CPR, and AED training.
- Aquatic Skills: Excellent aquatic skills and confidence in supporting male members.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferable.

b) **Lifeguard responsibilities shall include but not limited to**:

- Monitors safety and well-being of all members in and around the swimming pool area.
- Ensures cleanliness, safety and upkeep of swimming pool.
- Implements all rules and guidelines.
- Assists and rescues members in danger of drowning or when injured.
- Monitors pool-related activities closely and identify any safety issues.
- Provides swimming lessons and swim team coaching, when required.
- Maintains a clean environment in and around the pool, including checking of the toilet facilities prior to and after operation hours.
- Uses First Aid, CPR and/or AED, when appropriate or necessary.
- Knowledge and ability to evaluate water conditions at aquatics facilities to determine any potential dangers or hazards.
- Ability to judge and evaluate evolving dynamics of individuals participating in aquatic activities to immediately assess their capabilities and threats to their safety.
- Knowledge of on-site protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies; and knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services

**Salary and benefits** will be discussed during the interview process, based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: QAR1.00 - QAR2.00 per month
