We are looking for Specialists / Consultants of Gastroenterologist to provide services to one of the leading hospitals. This is a permanent/resident position in the Qatar.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Study patients’ medical histories, then meet with them to discuss their complaints and symptoms.
- Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients, changing treatment plans as circumstances dictate.
- Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns.
- Consulting with a patient’s primary doctor.
- Performing X-Ray, MRI, ultrasound scanning, and endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs.
- Examine or supervise the examination and diagnostic testing of patients.
- Make diagnoses and recommend surgery or other treatments.
- Schedule facilities and medical staff for operations.
- Perform surgical and noninvasive procedures, and supervise others.
- Prescribe drugs and supplements.
- Create postoperative-care plans, and recommend lifestyle changes involving diet, exercise, and other matters.
- Ensure accurate and complete record-keeping.
- Conduct research and receive continuing education.
- Other duties are as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's / Master's degree in the relevant field.
- 3 years of minimum experience required.
- Exhibit good judgment when making decisions within the area of responsibility.
- Well organized and good time management skills.
- Enjoy working in a team environment and be able to work independently.
- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be proficient in using computers.
