Digital Product Innovation Specialist

The **Digital Product Innovation Specialist** plays an important role in shaping how passengers experience digital services onboard. This role focuses on exploring emerging technologies, evaluating new product opportunities, and managing the implementation of digital solutions across inflight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) platforms. From concept to rollout, this specialist ensures that innovation is practical, tested, and aligned with brand and customer expectations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Product Development**: Support the evaluation, planning, and rollout of new technology and digital products across IFEC systems
- **Innovation Research**: Identify industry trends and propose new features or improvements to enhance the passenger experience
- **Project Delivery**: Work with design, development, and supplier teams to define technical specs, manage timelines, and oversee UI/UX testing
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Act as the link between technical teams, suppliers, and product owners to ensure alignment at all stages
- **Testing & Validation**: Coordinate functional testing and quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain project records and prepare clear reports for internal reviews and leadership updates
**Skills**
- Good understanding of digital product development, testing, and technology integration
- Familiar with IFEC platforms and emerging digital trends in aviation or hospitality
- Comfortable managing timelines, specs, and working across departments
- Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with project and product management tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Able to simplify technical topics and present them clearly to others
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in digital product or software development, ideally within the airline, hospitality, or tech space
