Corporate Security Supervisor

**About the role**:
As a Security Supervisor responsible to Supervise Senior Agents and Agents to ensure compliance with local regulations and all instructions and procedures issued by Vice President Security. Protect the interest of QR avoiding unlawful acts of interference, theft, damages, fines etc at HIA. Conduct routine patrols and special tasks. Complete reports as required and provide 24/7 ability to resolve security issues as they arise across Corporate Security and HIA.

**Accountabilities**:
**Operational**
- Supervise all staff on his/her respective shift working on the QR Security Operations at HIA.
- Ensure compliance through, briefing, monitoring and de-briefing of the staff.
- Ensure the security performance standards of Qatar Airways staff and contractors meet the specification stipulated by Head of Group Security to protect QR aircraft and facilities against unlawful acts of interference, theft damage etc,.
- Coordinate with Ramp, CCTV and Terminal Ops, and local security on a daily basis to enhance relationships.
- Producing Security Shift Report of the respective domain and passing it onto the Main Control Room for insertion into the Main Report.
- Reporting daily absence and any staff issues to Duty Security Officer.
- Point of operational contact for Security within Terminal, Ramp or CCTV Ops at HIA.
- Ensure regular supervisory visits to check the integrity of aircraft and QR airside facilities.
- Supervise and implement the Right Of Search Policy for staff members, as well as Co-ordinate Drugs and alcohol tests as authorized.
- Other duties as required from time to time by Vice President Security.
- Supervise positive and random aircraft search.
- Provide support to QR and its subsidiary staff.
- Supervise and lead small teams to achieve day to day operational objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
- Regularly evaluate the SOP/LOPs, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
- Oversee and supervise employees under the respective domain. Assign staff for operational activities, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Qualifications

**About you**

**Educational Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Trade, Tertiary or Vocational Qualification or equivalent
- Diploma / Associated professional qualification or 02 years work experience as a Snr. Security Agent

**Preferred**
- A tertiary accreditation in the related field

**Previous Experience**:
**Essential**
- Experienced - minimum 4 years of job-related experience required
- Operational experience in Aviation Security
- Previous Supervision of staff is essential
- Experience in airline security essential

**Preferred**
- Expected to easily familiarize with all aspects of the organization, its activities and personnel

**Job Specific Skills**:
**Essential**
- Good working knowledge of general security operations requirements
- Understanding of airline operations and their security requirements
