**About the role**:
As a Terminal Works Inspection Officer, you will be responsible for helping us achieve the following:

- Evaluate all terminal operations maintenance and development works to make sure they comply with safety and operational standards and have a reduced impact on customer experience and passenger flow by assessing the works permits process, timelines, and works plans.
- Conduct random spot checks/ quality checks and inspections on all works carried out to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures set to achieve safety and operational targets \ standards.
- Ensure all contractors carrying out works adhere to the fire & safety standards of HIA.
- Organize and participate in LOA meetings with all relevant parties and ensure works and closures are fully coordinated before and throughout the project period.
- Prepares and processes Terminal and Airport Operations Notices ensuring the information are disseminated across the intended audience in a timely manner and under the guidance of the line manager.
- Communicate any necessary amendments in work areas and operational layouts to Line manager when and where required to ensure works layouts best suit operational requirements.
- Process all permits pending with terminal operations on a daily basis under the guidance of line manager to ensure works are continued.
- Regularly check terminal operations inventory and forecast future operational needs of tensa-barriers, trolleys and other required materials and identify future operational needs of all required units based on passenger forecasts.
- Raise purchase enquiries, purchase requisitions and move orders to achieve sufficient inventory.
- Assists with project development and planning to ensure more efficient implementation.
- Support the implementation of flow of buggies, trolleys and other items within the terminal by assessing related SOPs, OWIs.
- Perform other duties related to operational requirements as and when required by the Line manager or department’s head.

**Qualifications**:
**About You**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Project management is an advantage.
- Construction experience is an advantage.
