**About the role**:
As a Terminal Works and Project Manager, you will be responsible for helping us achieve the following:

- Ensures terminal operations maintenance and development works comply with safety and operational standards and have a reduced impact on customer experience, passenger flow and operational functions by monitoring the works permits process, timelines, and works masterplans.
- Enhance the operational flow by developing processes and products when and where required to enhance customer experience, waiting times and work safety aspects.
- Reviews and approves facility maintenance work orders and permits to ensure mínimal operational impact.
- Optimize the use of existing facilities by controlling measures such as timelines, work schedules, and work plans to ensure delivery to customers whilst also identifying improvements in processes and future capacity requirements.
- Reinforce an airport operations team culture focused on customer service, safety, security and continuous improvement in terms of works taking place at the airport.
- Establish internal and external stakeholder relationships to overcome work challenges.
- Monitor service contracts and their delivery as per contracted performance index.
- Manages daily checks of all operational areas including approved works carried out in the terminal and ensures mínimal impact to terminal operations and customer experience.
- Represents Terminal Operations in the LOA (Letter of Approval) meetings and all Airport development-related projects meetings with all other stakeholders.
- Oversee and evaluate all works aspects in coordination with all other HIA departments, airport stakeholders/Government agencies and contractors to obtain \ grant the approval for the project to proceed.
- Conduct random spot checks/ quality checks and inspections on all works carried out to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures set.
- Ensure all contractors carrying out works adhere to the fire & safety standards of HIA.
- Ensure measures (safety, operational, etc.) are taken to ensure the smooth flow of operations and passenger flow of surrounding areas of any works being carried out.
- Assist in implementing the flow of buggies, trolleys and other items within the terminal by assessing related SOPs, OWIs.
- Develop and design personal development plans to national graduates in accordance with the nationals’ development program.
- Coaching and mentoring of staff when necessary and ensure they achieve their set goals.
- Issue Terminal Operation Notices TON to inform all relevant personnel, and agencies of updates/changes.
- Propose any necessary amendments in work areas and operational layouts to Senior Management when and where required.
- Control terminal operations inventory and assets and forecast future operational needs of all required units by approving purchase enquiries and purchase requisitions.
- Develop processes and plans to enhance and encourage the efficient use of operational assets.
- Evaluate, approve and implement the flow of buggies, trolleys and other items within the terminal by assessing related SOPs, OWIs.
- Perform other duties related to operational requirements as and when required by department head.

**Qualifications**:
**About You**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of job-related experience.
- 5-7 years of airport related experience.
- Project management is an advantage.
- Construction experience is an advantage.
