**Sales Executive**:
Participates in sales activities and events and assists Sales Manager in successful achievement of budget in forecasted room revenues in accommodation and other revenue generation areas.
Your day-to-day
- With Sales Manager plan sales strategy and implement tactics to achieve budget.
- Sell all facets of the hotel
- Establish new business and maintain existing business accounts through the preparation and execution of action plans.
- Convert sales leads.
- Handle accounts/prospects jointly with senior positions.
- Solicit and close business according to established parameters.
- Conduct familiarizations and site inspections.
- Maintain a regular sales call pattern.
- Monitor competitive set and communicate tactical changes to Manager.
- Attend regular meetings.
- Entertain prospects and existing key accounts with the view to sustain business and generate further sales.
- Report as required on sales activities and successes.
- Participate in conducting client interviews.
- Maintain regular contract with the hotels and reservation centre.
- Develop and maintain contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/Convention Bureau travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel Business

- **Assist. Sales Manager**
As a Assist Sales Manager, you will be assisting the Director of Sales in management of all sales activities and events including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration, public relations and management of the sales team.
Your day-to-day
- Implements all sales action plans related to his/her marketing area as outlined in the Marketing Plan.
- Establishes and maintains files on major active accounts within his/her marketing areas.
- Promotes and produces sales leads for other hotels I-Leads system.
- Plans sales trips, under the direct approval of Director of Sales & Marketing / Director of Sales, to major marketing areas, calling on accounts within their specific marketing area. Reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing on potential markets needing coverage.
- Provides feedback to the Director of Sales & Marketing / Director of Sales on changing market conditions, including trends in the competition as a result, of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail, in his/her market areas. Arranges familiarization/site inspection trips in the hotel for major clients.
- Disseminates sales related information to other departments as appropriate.
- Maintains a high level of exposure in the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation; telephone contacts, and written communications.
- Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features / services, hours of operation, schedule in-house activities, location and times
- Attends meetings as requested by Director of Sales & Marketing / Director of Sales.
- Submits weekly sales reports, business-generated reports, and weekly call planner to Director of Sales & Marketing or Director of Sales.
- Attends all major functions held in-house.
- Supports hotel promotions and events and ensures information is fed into the market.
