**About the role**

As a SM Engineering - Power Plant (CAMO), you will be responsible to ensure that aircraft, Engines and APUs are compliant with all applicable and future airworthiness requirements, Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) safety regulations, operational requirements, corporate requirements and maintained at the highest levels of technical dispatch reliability. Overseas all activities in Engineering sections, ensuring continuous compliance with airworthiness requirements to fulfil QCAA Part CAMO responsibilities. Create and lead the implementation of operational strategy that ensures the organization meets and maintains all required safety and compliance requirements keeping reliability and compliance requirements as per company targets. Create and lead the implementation of commercial and cost effective operational strategy to meet Company’s commercial goals.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:
**Technical**
- Set the objectives and priorities for short, medium and long-term plans in order to achieve the targets of technical/operational reliability for Engines and APUs.
- Develop and review procedures and processes for efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with applicable regulations and requirements. Initiate new procedures or revision to existing procedures, as required.
- Develop applicable quality and safety processes and procedures with in areas of assigned responsibility, and establish and manage a safety management system, as required.
- Ensure an adequate independent quality audit system is developed, managed and maintained to company and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and manage implementation of appropriate control measures/key performance indicators related to safety, compliance, and reliability.

**Commercial**
- Set the objectives for short, medium and long-term plans to reduce Engine and APU Direct Maintenance Cost.
- Develop procedures and processes for efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with applicable regulations and requirements. Initiate new procedures or revisions to existing procedures, as required.
- Establish a system and oversee a team to manage Engine and APU contracts.
- Lead strategic procurement activities related to Power Plants.
- Prepare budget with Business Finance, be prepared to discuss it with higher management, and manage outsourced programs to ensure spend is within budget.
- Define and assign key performance indicators leading to achieve company’s commercial targets.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
- Experience as a Development Engineer with the supervisory/management role.
- Experience in technical management positions in Development Engineering discipline.
- Master’s degree in above-mentioned fields or in Engineering Management or Business Administration.
- Extreme knowledge in organizational, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work with a multinational team of professionals.
- Ability to quickly identify potentially critical issues and define mitigation plans.
