**Role Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Strong hands-on expertise in switching technologies, including Cisco Nexus and cross-vendor network integration.
- Design and implement robust IT architectures and scalable network environments
- Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols: MPLS (Layer 2/3), BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DVMRP, PIM.
- Manage virtualization, cloud migration, and data center optimization using technologies like VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Azure/AWS.
- Lead deployments of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Virtual Data Centers (VDC).
- Manage network security: ACLs, IPSec/SSL VPNs, AAA, endpoint protection (AV, EDR, SIEM).
- Collaborate on AI-ready infrastructure and support real-time analytics integration using platforms such as Microsoft Azure AI, Google Cloud AI, and Elastic Stack.
- Support cloud-based architectures (IaaS/PaaS) and hybrid environments.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software support and escalations.
- Maintain technical documentation and performance baselines.
- Confidently lead customer presentations and design workshops.
- Handle multiple tasks and configurations across diverse environments.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4-9 years of experience in Information Security and IT infrastructure.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Security Engineer.
- Deep understanding of enterprise security concepts and architecture.

**Certifications (preferred)**

Having certifications such as CCIE, VCAP-NV, or Fortinet NSE is a strong plus. Other relevant licenses or vendor-specific certifications in networking, security, or cloud technologies will also be considered favorably.
