**Salary**: Competitive Salary, Fully Furnished Housing, No Tax, International Medical Insurance for Staff & Family, Life Insurance for Staff, Air Tickets, Luggage Assistance, Professional Development **Job type**: Full Time, Fixed Term **Start date**: August 2025 31 December 2024 **Job overview**: We are looking for a potential Learning Support Coordinator who would develop and coordinate a sustainable comprehensive system of learning support that enables all students to have an equal opportunity for success at school by addressing barriers to learning. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop, support and encourage classroom-based approaches that enhance and promote student learning - Reduce referrals to Student Study Team by providing targeted interventions for struggling learners - Create and foster a caring, personalized, and enriched academic learning environment for all students - Develop and deliver school-wide learning support program that encompass systems related to a full continuum of interventions ranging from primary prevention to interventions for serious problems based on the "Response To Intervention" learning support model - Enhance regular classroom strategies to enable learning and support students' accelerated learning - Encourage, coach, model and train staff in strategies that support struggling students to be successful - Coordinate after-school tutoring program - Ensure that staff and physical resources are used efficiently and effectively - Provide support to staff responsible for the delivery of learning support programs. - Provide leadership and management to staff responsible for the delivery of specialist and general support for learning - To undertake teaching/learning support commitment of up to including direct teaching and assessment activities as agreed on an annual basis - Assist in establishing policies, procedures and documents for SST referral process, Learning Support program model, School Policy Manual, staff handbook, etc. based on the school's strategic plan **Work Experience & Educational Qualifications**: - Master's Degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership Administration or related field - Valid certification - Minimum 2 years experience coordinating programs, teaching in the field of learning support or special education or related experience - Previous experience in supervision of staff - Bilingual English/Arabic preferred **About **Tariq Bin Ziad School**: **Tariq Bin Ziad School** - Building 36, Al Dafaf Street, Street 893, Zone 38, Al Sadd- Doha- Qatar+974 454 0000
