**Job Title: Production Manager - for Metal and Stainless-Steel Fabrication Industry**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and optimize production processes for metal fabrication (cutting, bending, welding, assembling, finishing).
- Interpret technical drawings and work closely with design and engineering teams.
- Prepare production schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Identify bottlenecks in production and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
- Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and mínimal downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis on production failures and implement corrective actions.
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Train and supervise production staff to meet production targets.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of materials.
- Analyze production data and prepare reports for management
- Forecast production demands and plan capacity requirements accordingly.
- Develop and manage department budgets, including labor, materials, and overhead costs
- Collaborate with corresponding department teams to ensure manufacturability of new designs.
- Oversee the implementation of ERP/MRP systems for production tracking and planning.
- Support audits and certification processes (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, AWS) to maintain industry compliance.
- Communicate effectively with upper management regarding production performance, risks, and improvements.
- Develop staffing plans and participate in hiring decisions for production personnel.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of production processes and outputs.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence within the production team.**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 7 years of experience in a similar role within the metal fabrication or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes: laser/plasma cutting, welding, CNC machining, etc.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and production planning tools.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) is added advantage.
- Preferably Jordanian nationality
