**Job Description: Costing & Estimation Engineer (Fireproofing, Scaffolding, Painting & Blasting, Insulation)**

**Position Overview**:
**Salary: 7,000 - 10,000 QAR (Including FAT)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Costing & Estimation**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for projects involving Fireproofing, Scaffolding, Painting & Blasting, and Insulation.
- Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and drawings to develop precise cost calculations.
- Evaluate material, equipment, and labor costs to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing trends, supplier rates, and GCC market standards.
- **Proposal & Tender Preparation**:

- Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, including all necessary technical and financial documentation.
- Review client requirements and specifications to ensure all aspects are addressed in the estimation.
- Support the team in negotiating and finalizing contracts by providing detailed cost breakdowns.
- **Coordination & Stakeholder Management**:

- Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and vendors to collect and verify project-related data.
- Engage with clients and contractors to clarify project requirements and ensure alignment on cost expectations.
- Support procurement in securing competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- **Compliance & Reporting**:

- Ensure all estimations are in line with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimation activities, cost reports, and project documentation.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the management team regarding costing and estimation performance.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- **Experience**:

- **10 years of relevant professional experience**, with a **minimum of 5 years in the GCC region**.
- Proven ability to independently handle costing and estimation tasks across Fireproofing, Scaffolding, Painting & Blasting, and Insulation domains.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in estimation tools and software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and material take-offs.
- Expertise in GCC market rates, labor costs, and supplier networks.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results within strict deadlines.

**Preferred Competencies**:

- Hands-on experience with project estimation software and cost analysis tools.
- Familiarity with local GCC market trends and vendors.
- Professional certifications in project estimation or costing are a plus.

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
