**Job Description - Testing & Commissioning Technician**

**Position Title**: Testing & Commissioning Technician
**Experience Level**: 3-5 Years
**Work Location**: Qatar

**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Role Overview**

The Testing & Commissioning Technician will be responsible for carrying out all site-based pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing activities for electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires strong technical understanding, hands-on experience, and adherence to project quality and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute **testing, commissioning, and performance verification** of MEP and control systems as per approved procedures and drawings.
- Perform **pre-commissioning checks**, functional testing, loop checking, and system energization.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure that installation and commissioning activities meet project specifications and schedules.
- Prepare and maintain **commissioning reports, test sheets, and documentation** for client approval.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve **defects or performance issues** in coordination with the engineering team.
- Support **system handover and client acceptance testing** activities.
- Comply with all **site safety procedures and quality management systems**.
- Provide technical feedback and participate in tool box talks and commissioning meetings as required.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Diploma or Technical Certificate** in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum **3-5 years of experience** in testing and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, or control systems.
- Hands-on experience with **HVAC, BMS, Fire Alarm, ELV, or LV systems** preferred.
- **Oil & Gas experience** will be an **added advantage**.
- Familiar with testing procedures, commissioning schedules, and quality documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Good communication and reporting skills in English.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork attitude.
