To carry out feasibility study, concept design, load estimation for new District Cooling projects, lead the concept and detailed design of District Cooling underground networks, plants, and energy transfer stations. To lead and coordinate all activities related to design process independently and liaise and coordinate with all clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of projects.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

**Minimum Experience**:

- 7 years of relevant experience in the design of District Cooling systems with a major District Cooling utility company / infrastructure designer / EPC contractor in GCC
- Experience in mechanical building services (HVAC etc.) / District Cooling

**Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical)**:

- Proficiency in English
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of standards and codes relevant to district cooling utilities (ASHRAE / BS / EN / ASME / AHRI etc.) and testing and commissioning (BSRIA / ASHRAE etc.) and familiarity with authority regulations in Qatar
- In-depth knowledge in hydraulic modelling of District Cooling network
- MMUP, Qatar-approved engineer status is desirable
- Membership of ASHRAE, CIBSE, IDEA etc. is desirable
- Computer literacy (NetSim, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office in particular)
