**Purpose**:
The Real-time Broadcast Graphics Designer will be responsible for the conception and production of high-quality Real-time graphics mainly for broadcast and occasionally on a diverse array of media, Platforms include On-air, led walls, touch screens among other digital media.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Execute and deliver rich and extensive real-time data-driven templates and graphics, with uncompromising attention to detail.
- Work with 2D/3D design elements and cater to ad-hoc needs of on-air graphics.
- Responsible for data visualisation as this will be central to each graphic.
- Deliver graphics for several media and digital displays like HD, touch screens and custom video wall displays.
- Work on compelling 3D VR and AR graphics, custom or template.
- Work on immersive 3D VR scenarios for specials events like elections.
- Create infographic templates for the air, and constantly improve looks and usability.
- Work closely with the designers to integrate design elements in the real-time form.
- Work closely with the developers to integrate custom code for special projects.
- Design a data workflow that suits the templates in a news environment.
- Maintain, organize, and archive the department’s template library.

**Skills**:

- The role requires excellent attention to detail and established design skills.
- Experience with digital platforms and interactivity is a big plus.
- Proven experience in 3D broadcast standard software like VizRT, Ventuz, RossXpression, Wasp3D or the like
- Some experience in 3D graphics software like Cinema 4D or the like is a plus.
- Proficient in mainstream graphics software, including but not limited to Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with basic coding skills is a bonus.
- Awareness of the importance of data and data delivery in a live environment.
- A creative thinker, with an excellent and proven ability to visually and verbally communicate ideas.
- Ability to define, characterize, and communicate solution design at a creative level.
- Ability to problem solve/pivot for projects with tight turnarounds and deadlines.
- A strict organization is another must for this role.
- Strongly committed to working as part of a creative team.
- Juggle the work of multiple motion graphic projects simultaneously.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- BA or BS in Design or Development or the equivalent.
- Proven track record with television or motion graphics industry.
- 7 years experience
- Experience of Apple Mac and PC, Adobe Premiere, Adobe after effects.
