Qatar Airways is currently recruiting for Senior Prorate Agent for Hub Baggage Service Department.

Assists Prorate Officer in documentation of incoming prorate notices from interline partners. Prepares prorate notices and recording of incoming and outgoing prorate notices and follow up.

Specific responsibilities of the role include:
Operational
- Reviews MBR received from QR stations for interline settled claims.
- Monitor and follow up with QR Network on settled interline settled baggage claims through Haqiba / World Tracer Management System.
- Coordinates with QR Network in order to get mandatory documents required for proration on settled baggage claims.
- Prepare and send QR Prorate notices to interline partners in consultation with Prorate Officer.
- Liaises with Finance and SGS to prepare invoices against QR prorate notices in order to debit interline partners’ share through IATA Clearing House.
- Receives and keeps record of prorate notices from interline partners against settled baggage claims by them where QR involved.
- Assists Prorate Officer in documentation of incoming prorate notices from interline partners.
- Prepares QR prorate notices to interline partners on settled baggage claims in consultation with Prorate Officer.
- Keeps proper record of incoming and outgoing prorate notices and follow up.
- Ensure that the outstations forward all relevant mandatory documents required for prorate on timely manner.
- Monitor the quality of the reports submitted by outstations, and highlight discrepancies if any to the concern stations.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification, preferably from baggage claims section.
- Experience in Baggage Services is mandatory.
- Knowledge of World Tracer is necessary.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office is desirable.
- Excellent communication and drafting Skills.
- Knowledge of Haqiba/World Tracer Management or any other airline similar experience.
- Knowledge of understanding the cases and files.
- Knowledge of understanding the FS/RL and concluding the cases.
- Knowledge and update with latest changes in the IATA resolutions 780.
