Senior Transport

As Senior Transport and Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible to provide administration support for smooth function to carry the transport and logistic daily task on a daily basis. You should be able to handle the reports that Discover Qatar — Transport and logistic team represent. You would also be tasked to promote the high standards of Qatar Airways values through correspondence and personal interaction. You should Liaise with internal Discover Qatar departments for arranging the logistics of resources to deliver Discover Qatar products and services, dispatching and assigning internal and supplier’s resources through illusion system.

Accountabilities:

- Perform diversified and administrative support. Handle a variety of situations and tasks involving the clerical and administrative functions of Discover Qatar and transport and logistic team.
- Assist with Tour Guides and Captains assignments by preparing manual overtime forums and prepare the necessities for the Tour (water, kits, disposable sanitary goods)
- Independently gather and compile Transport and logistic docs such as manual overtime, manual Duty allowances, manual overtime for Floating Public Holiday regarding transport and logistic team. Monitor the Duty Tour Allowance and Overtime on Weekly basis and provide report on monthly basis to be submitted to the Senior Logistics Officer.
- Attend and take notes at transport and logistic meetings, coordinate travel arrangements — reports and records
- of communication to meet the requirements of the team. Schedule and maintain calendar appointments, meetings and coordinate related arrangements. Draft minutes of meetings regarding internal Discover Qatar committees.
- Ensure that the right uniform is delivered to the right staff based on the role from the respective department by following the guidance from logistics lines.
- Liaising with suppliers on uniform requirements, exchanges, laundry issues, new issuance etc. Issuance for new staff (DQ and suppliers) of uniforms and name tags.
- Coordinate with Learning and Development department and liaise with the suppliers for the list of participants.
- Enroll the participants in GEMS. After the course completion, download the course completion certificate and mail to the supplier.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Insert practical and technical knowledge needed
- Command of English language
