**JD for Planning Engineer - Oil & Gas**
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera and MS Projects software.
- Prepare and manage Extension of Time (EOT), acceleration, and prolongation claims.
- Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
- Identify potential project delays and provide solutions to mitigate risks.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Estimate a timescale for a project and ensure that the outlined deadlines are met.
- Utilize the progress data to inform those concerned when progress is falling behind and maintain a constant check on materials and equipment delivery dates.
- Make periodic visits to review progress.
- Monitor progress periodically and compare it with the baseline planning.
- Set up issue alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates.
- Record all variations and revisions which must be incorporated in the planning and inform the appropriate staff and subcontractors of any changes to their workload and any alterations to the targets previously set.
- Attend progress meetings and report on the current situation and note all changes and any restrictions on progress.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on planning and scheduling processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Mandatory: Extensive experience with Primavera and MS Projects software.
- Proven track record in preparing EOT, acceleration, and prolongation claims.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
