Job Title: PROCUREMENT ENGINEER

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Procurement Strategy and Planning; Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and PWA Ashghal standards. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and subcontractors.
- Tendering and Contracting; Prepare and issue tender documents, including scope of work, technical specifications, and commercial terms. Evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical and financial criteria. Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve the best terms and conditions for the projects.
- Supplier and Subcontractor Management; Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or non-compliance. Ensure timely delivery of materials and services in accordance with project schedules.
- Cost Control and Budget Management; Assist in developing and managing project budgets, ensuring procurement activities are within financial constraints. Analyze cost data and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Documentation and Reporting; Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and correspondence. Prepare and present regular reports on procurement status, including any issues or delays.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance; Ensure all procurement activities comply with PWA Ashghal’s policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Verify that procured materials and services meet project quality standards and specifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement for roads, infrastructure, and drainage projects.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic is a preferred.

**Additional Information**:

- The position is based in Qatar and requires occasional site visits.
- Competitive salary and benefits package will be offered based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: QAR1.00 - QAR2.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
