High level of knowledge of industry standards, ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications. Must be able to understand drawings & details, material finishes and construction material requirements.
- Should be able to perform setting-out plans on site as per approved drawings, able to independently handle assigned projects, Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation. Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
- Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations
- Inspects all wooden, steel and civil structures on weekly, monthly, quarterly basis, and recommends maintenance as applicable. Where budget outlay is needed, submits a request to Technical Manager. Ensures CMMS work requests are always reviewed on daily basis and closed out in timely manner by allocation to the respective team members. Monitors and controls quality of works.
- Leads and mentors the team of carpenters, painters, helpers, and others. Plans their annual leave such that there is no shortage of
- resources during peak periods. Manages the functions of the off-site Workshop in Wukair, and visits the workshop on weekly basis or earlier as necessary, ensures all equipment are checked and certified safe, staff have necessary comfort facilities as per the labor law.

Must be involved in purchasing of the right material and services necessary, supports the purchaser in selection of the material and services. Visits supplier workshop/stores for inspections if necessary, before, during and after work completion to ensure quality control.
