We are looking to hire Keystage 1 Homeroom teachers with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a British school.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

To maintain and build upon the Teacher Standards and in particular:

- Should have a good understanding of CIE requirement, QNSA requirement and MoEHE requirement.
- Support Middle Leadership Team in all school activities regarding Year Groups.
- Support Middle Leadership Team with all decisions regarding Year Groups.
- Support Middle Leadership Team in coordinating all the information and support of the Year Group teachers.
- To work within and support the policies, practices and ethos of the school.
- To demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of children.
- To be accountable for children’s attainment, progress and outcomes
- To take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues
- To manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
- To monitor children’s progress, keeping records that include assessment outcomes and targets set at regular intervals in line with school policies, to enable all children to achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and follow school Child Protection Procedures.
- Arrive on time to school to receive students into the class room, events, meetings etc.
- Mark attendance, sharing information, giving circulars, collect acknowledgments, collect money etc for respective class.
- Communicate with parents regularly informing them about frequent absence, events, attainment, achievement, progress made or any other concern.
- Mentor, coach, monitor and have a follow up on students’ performance individually as well as with parents.
- Displays in the class room as well as outside the class room are with the work of students and with relevant information.
- Arrange for meetings with respective teachers, HOKs, HODS or parents if there are anomalies.
- Take responsibility for quality of assemblies, presentations or representations of students from respective class.
- Furnish and ensure that data of students is accurate and is updated.
- Any other duty that conscience calls for besides those that might emerge and are assigned later.

Only Female teachers are required.
