Job Title: Computer Vision and Deep Learning Specialist (Google Cloud)

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, fine-tune, and deploy deep learning models on Google Cloud AI Platform.

Replace standard convolutional layers with deformable convolution layers (DCN) to improve feature extraction on irregular shapes while also exploring industry-standard models like Mask R-CNN, YOLO, and Faster R-CNN to ensure optimal accuracy.

Use Google Cloud TPUs/GPUs to accelerate training of the models and optimize training pipelines.

Implement multi-task learning models to predict both classification decisions and regression estimates.

Preprocess and manage datasets on Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and use Google BigQuery for large-scale data analysis.

Build scalable, production-ready machine learning pipelines using Google Cloud MLOps services (e.g., AI Platform Pipelines, Kubeflow, Vertex AI).

Collaborate with domain experts and business stakeholders to incorporate business needs into the model, ensuring accurate predictions.

Required Qualifications:
1.

**Education**:
o

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

2.

Technical Skills:
o

2+ years of experience in building and fine-tuning deep learning models for computer vision tasks.

o

Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially AI Platform, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Vertex AI, and BigQuery.

o

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud TPUs or NVIDIA GPUs (e.g., A100) for high-performance model training.

o

Experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch and working with pretrained models like ResNet or Mask R-CNN.

o

Expertise in deformable convolutional networks (DCN) and transfer learning.

o

Familiarity with containerization and deployment using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

Machine Learning Expertise:
o

Strong understanding of convolutional neural networks (CNNs), object detection, and segmentation.

o

Experience in building multi-task models for simultaneous classification and regression tasks.

o

Familiarity with Google Cloud AutoML and Vertex AI to build and deploy scalable machine learning models.

4.

MLOps & Automation:
o

Experience with MLOps tools like Kubeflow Pipelines and AI Platform Pipelines for automating machine learning workflows.

o

Understanding of version control, model monitoring, and model retraining on Google Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:
Google Cloud Certification: GCP Professional Machine Learning Engineer or GCP Professional Data Engineer.

Experience with TensorFlow Extended (TFX) or Google AI Platform Pipelines for scalable machine learning workflows.

Prior experience working with insurance claims automation.

Knowledge of Google Cloud security best practices for handling sensitive datasets

A deep learning expert who has successfully deployed models on Google Cloud using AI Platform, Vertex AI, and GCS.

Skilled at building and fine-tuning models on TPUs or GPUs to improve training efficiency.

Has experience working on large-scale datasets and is proficient with Google BigQuery for data analytics.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
